Our group is 6 with Kaitlin Bunn, Minsun Hwang, Dong Hoon Kim and Yong Duck Kim(me).
We make the retelling the tale of 'Snow White'. So we change the role of Snow White, the prince, witch and dwarf. So our goal is to challenge the idea of a woman always needing a man, which is common in many fairy tales. So with this retelling, we emphasis the fact that times are changing, women are becoming more self-able and can even be the hero.
Our story line is like that. The Witch is the Queen of a Kingdom. And she gained the position of King. So she make her son, the Dwarf, to be the next king. And another son, the Prince, is the next king of the throne. So Queen make him throw away and tries to kill him. But Prince grows up with poor. But he don't know about his history. Snow White is a princess of another kingdom. She is smart, so she meet prince. and she make Prince to king. And then she throw away the Witch and her son. And she get married with Prince.
It's the story of this project.
So we have 4 main character Snow White, prince, witch and dwarf. In this character, I act dwarf and other extra character. My character dwarf is not anymore snow white helper. So I play a little cold and a little fun character. And also I make the film and edit it.

Wow, Your team story looks interesting!! Retelling story which emphasis women are becoming more self-able will give us fun. But You also consider 'acting'. If it is weak, we won't concentrate well. I'm really expecting your final video.

답글삭제Emphasizing women's role is very fresh subject.In retelling story, i think acting is most important part. I wonder how well you show the dwarf!! I want to see your acting asap!!
답글삭제It's interesting story, but I think you need some clear information about the reason why Snow white helps prince to be a king. You said that Snow white met a prince because she is smart. I think that if you say so, woman still need man to be on a higher position. If you be clear with that point video will be really interesting.
답글삭제Recommend you using BGM efficiently. Using unexpected music in a right place can make people laugh and prevent this parody become a cliche. I will waiting for your cold and chic dwarf acting!
